AIEEE 2011 Paper, Solutions and Cut-off

AIEEE 2011 paper has been re-scheduled on the same day (1 May 2011) to start from 12- 3 PM (1st Paper) and 4-7 PM (2nd Paper) due to leakage of the papers at multiple places per media reports. CBSE has learnt its lessons pretty well from 2004 paper leak and keep another sets of papers for such eventualities, which would be utilized this year.

Please refer below link for AIEEE 2011 Question Papers, Solutions and Cut-off.

AIEEE 2010 Question Paper, Answer n Cut-off

The AIEEE 2010 exam was held on 25 April 10 all across the country today. AIEEE 2010 was a 3 hour paper with 90 questions in total for 432 marks – 30 questions in each of the subjects. Each subject had 24 questions of 4 marks and 6 questions of 8 marks – hence 144 marks in total per subject. There were 4 choices in all questions.
The Maths section had assertion and reasoning type questions while the Physics section had two passages. The pattern was not different from AIEEE 2009 and was a pretty balanced paper. Most of the candidates found maths to be a tougher paper and physics a easy one to solve.
300 marks (out of 432 marks) could get a rank of 1000, 250 marks a rank of 5000 and with 215 marks one can get a rank of about 10000. 185 marks could get a rank of 20000.

AIEEE Exam- How to Crack it?

This post discusses few tips, tricks and ideas on how to breeze through AIEEE exam.

The AIEEE exam is conducted by CBSE for admissions to India’s premier national level institutes like NITs, IIITs (Indian Institute of Information Technology), DCE, PEC, many deemed universities, government funded institutions and technical colleges in the country. More than 1 million candidates appear for this exam and the exam is counted as the largest exam in the world held on a single day.

AIEEE 2011 Information Brochure

The AIEEE consists of two papers. Paper -1 (PCM) is administered to the candidates desirous of admissions to B.E/B.Tech stream and Paper 2 (Part I-Maths, Part II- Aptitude & Part III-Drawing) is administered to candidates for B Arch/B.Planning. The exam has objective type format with multiple choice questions. There is negative marking in the exam- for every wrong answer one fourth (1/4) of the mark allotted for that question is deducted. For left out questions, there is no negative marking. Marking more than one answer for a question is considered a wrong answer and negative marking is applied.

The exam is not tough at all and can be cracked with some discipline and hard work. The candidates scoring about 50% marks in the exam can expect to get a rank around 10000. In cricket terminology, if you can avoid follow-on in the exam (i.e. score say 226 out of 425), you are on the way to get a rank below 10000. Here are some tips and tricks to crack this exam and the rules can be generally applied to crack any engineering exam.
